Teachers’ Perceptions of Multiple Trade Unions in Promoting Professional Development among Teachers

The purpose of this study was to examine teachers’ perceptions multiple trade unions in promoting professional development among teachers. objective specifically was; teachers ‘perceptions Teachers. form qualitative, it a case design involving ten public secondary school (A-J) Dodoma city council. population were Trade Unions’ Members, Leaders and Tanzania Registrar Unions. sampling procedure used purposive only, the sample size 44 participants employed. Two research instruments (focused group discussion interview). Data analyzed by using six stages thematic analysis. findings revealed promote such as; reformation law labour relation education policy, collaboration between government educational issues .Also establish some programs as trainings, workshops seminars teachers‘ professionalism. recommended change so reboots activities .Thus leaders advised re-examining leadership make restorations where necessary sure that unions’ are revived once again..
